The Build to Rent sector is the fastest-growing segment in UK real estate, with supply rising over 50% annually since 2015. As customers increasingly consider brand values when evaluating companies, Grainger seeks to enhance its customer experience and brand perception in this competitive market.

Design process
The project kicked off with a design sprint to align on objectives and define success. We explored client insights and organized opportunities into ideation areas, using techniques like Crazy 8s and 3-step journeys to develop and refine solutions. These were integrated into page structures for the prototype, which was then polished for realistic user feedback. The existing website didn’t align with the new brand guidelines, so we updated the design, focusing on a muted colour palette, typography, and a visual language that resonated with users.
